The device was wonderful until the first time I connected it to the computer for updates. It has never worked since, and technical support is abysmal.

Comment:
When it worked, it was okay. However, the unit I bought was very inconsistent. It froze up intermitently but would usually work after re-booting. After the first update however, the unit stopped functioning altogether. Customer service was extremely difficult to even contact and was absolutely of no help once I did contact them. I ended up buying another brand to replace it.

Comment:
Everything was fine with this unit but it did not seem to last. For some unknown reason about 1 year after I purchased it the touchscreen just stopped working. I am not sure if this is a common problem but it might be because I did leave the unit in the hot car a couple times. But it seems to me they should design the unit for that since it is used for automotive purposes.
