Comment:
Bought this for geocaching last January. This unit has been amazing. Accuracy is right on 99.9% of the time even in wooded areas. Battery life is great. We could usually get two full days of geocaching before replacing the batteries. Get good high power, 2500ua or better rechargable batteries for the best results. We have been extremely happy with this GPS and highly recommend it.

Comment:
Its not bad, but I find myself repeatedly going back to my top rated Garmin GPSmap 60CSx. Oregon 400t Screen is hard to read in light, awkward handling compared to 60CSx. The touch screen controls often delays, esp annoying on searches. Be aware that purchased downloadable maps cannot be installed to your PC or used in Mapsource. They are installed directly to the device, so be sure to buy a big memory card (or buy DVD maps).

Comment:
I use GSAK (with an Oregon macro) to load GPX files. Very easy. The firmware was recently updated to break out the logs seperately. The field notes feature is nice, too. The screen can be hard to see in bright sunlight, but it is so nice to be able to read the description and logs with hauling paper around.
