Comment:
Have a set on my 2006 Taurus. Good over-all handling, especially in wet and moderate snow (3 to 6 inches) conditions. Dry traction, including braking and cornering, is very good. The tires are wearing evenly, although I do not think I will get 80,000 miles out of them - I'll be happy with 60,000. They hum a bit more than othr tires I've owned but I'll gladly take that given the confidence the tires give me on the road.

Good value in the beginning..then became rough riding and very loud. Seems to loose grip easily.<br />Will not pruchase again. I drive many highway miles at speed limit, wearing evenly.

Initially purchased as rim protectors for my 200K '96 Subaru wagon which I been kept as a utility vehicle when buying a new one. The tires were a value and quietly did what was needed. In the 32 snowfall last winter the utility wagon was my primary and the tires, although all-season, did admirably enough I put them on our BMW 528i with the same results: more performance than was anticipated. I didn't anticipate Snowcat traction in winter, deep water fording ability or 1.0 G cornering on highway cloverleaf entry ramps. Each of those isolated circumstances would call for a specific tire and I just wanted to be able to put one tire on for descent results year-round; this one was a fine and pleasantly surprising choice. I was similarly pleased with the dealer experience given the option of buying online and sorting out local installation.
