2. Permission for use in higher education (CCC) Ask your school if it is registered with the CCC (Copyright Clearance Center/Academic Permissions Service). If it is, click
the CCC link on the left. If not, see #3.
3. Other permissions

Include the following with your request:
- Name, address, grade level of the students.
- Number of copies you plan to make.
- Description of how CU material will appear (including surrounding text), to show context. If all or part of the article is
to be reprinted in another publication or document, include a sample of that publication or document.
Other organizations and professionals Permissions are considered for non-educational institutions when it is clear that there is no commercial intent. As our No Commercial Use Policy states, in part, "The name of Consumers Union/Consumer Reports/ConsumerReports.org cannot be used in any advertising or promotion (including press releases) of any product or service that we have evaluated."
Include the following with your request:
- The same information requested above for educational organizations.
- Information about how the CU material will be distributed and to whom.
