Great sound, very comfortable on long plane trips, block out low frequencies very well, and batteries last for at least 12 hours. Great value. I've owned mine for 2 years and they've performed flawlessly.

Bought 2 pairs, one for daughter who is hospitalized often and myself. She was unable to sleep in hospital environment but this did the trick. I often use to travel and can't do without. Comfortable, light and effective and the bonus is the good sound. the short cord issue is easily rectified. Overall a good buy.

Just received this as an early Christmas gift. Works great with my iPod and Laptop computer. Very comfortable. Great sound. I am very pleased and the price is very reasonable. I would not hesitate in purchasing this product. The only complaint is that I would like the cord to be slightly longer. But it is long enough to not take away from a high rating. You can always get a longer cord. Battery life seems to be reasonable as well.

Strength
Comfortable and quiet. Excellent sound reproduction. Reasonable price. Good low-pitch noise cancellation.
Weakness
Requires battery changes every 20 hours of use with standard AAA battery.
If you're on a plane for more than 12 hours, as I was, the use of noise canceling headphones makes a big difference. These headphones met my qualifications. They transmitted sound from various devices (the plane sound system, my computer, portable iPod-like devices) with excellent reproduction. They did not feel too heavy, make me sweat, or cause pressure areas. They were a reasonable price. They folded away conveniently. Why pay $300 for something that works as well at 1/3 the price

Doesn't cover whole ear so doesn't completely cancel sound
I bought these headphones instead of opting for the higher priced BOSE headphones. Ater using them for a time, they performed as advertised and I noticed a SIGNIFICANT noise reduction - especially on airplanes. I love the ability to put these on and be able to shut out the noise around. I was impressed with the sound quality. Overall a great product for a much better price than competitors.
