Honestly, I am disappointed. I heard the buzz about these. The first pair I bought were defective and simply did not work. I exchanged them for another pair of studios the same day. The headphones really go through some batteries, better remember to turn them off or batteries may need replacing before you can use them again. They feel heavy and tight against my head.

Comment:
Studio Beats by Dre have excellent sound quality and clarity, even at high volumes. The bass is excellent, especially the mid-bass; my only complaint is that I occasionally get some minimal background interference when listening, but it typically stops after a few seconds. The noise-cancelling is great and is most useful to block out droning sounds such as a car or airplane. In addition, the included connector cables, carrying case, adapter, and polishing cloth are nice perks when you're paying [$] for a pair of headphones. Beats have a nice clean polish and its looks are VERY bold and outgoing; I would not recommend these for people who are shy or not generally very outgoing. These WILL draw attention to you, so be prepared for it. Beats are meant to be noticed. Overall, Beats are overpriced, but well worth the cost.

Comment:
A little high on the price scale, you get what you pay for. I would pick these headphones over any Bose or Shure headphones. You might be disappointed if you purchase them expecting greatness; if you know a friend that has a pair try them out first. The headphones has a mute button on the headphone to mute the music as long as you hold in the button, release to listen to the music again.
