Reasonably priced, it reduces the airplane and busy area noises so that you can effectivly listen to movies, MP3s. On planes it makes the roar subdued, I can understand te movies for a change, arrive feeling more relaxed. Over the ears but Very comfortable for several hours wear, in-the ear pods don't work for me, they won't stay in.
The on-ear muffs fold against the head piece for a compact package.
A well constructed zippered carry case has room for spare batteries.
Made listening to inflight movies much more enjoyable by reducing ambient noise levels by 60% to 70%.
Noise canceling mode generated slight acoustic pressure on the eardrums but you get used to that quickly.
Good over ear noise reducing headphones reduce more ambient noise but are much bulkier to carry.
This unit worked much better that noise canceling ear buds.
Owned 2 yrs. Initial set defective, but [...] free exchange & no trouble since. Very light & compact - perfect for travel. I prefer on-ear to inserts or over-ear models.
