Comment:
I was very excited when I got these earphones and turned them on. They worked great at first but then a few months later (only using them a few times) I started hearing an intermittent loud squeal, so loud I thought my ears were damaged. I contacted the manufacturer and they said they would replace them if I paid about $30 for a refurbished one. I got the refurbished set and soon after the squeal came back. I called the company again and they said I would have to pay for a new set as the warranty had ran out. Now I'm stuck with a set of squealing earphones I can't use anymore without running the risk of damaging my ears. I would never purchase this item again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Comment:
I have had trouble with 2 units, both at the L joint where the headphone plugs into an aux port. The first time it bent (visibaly so), probably from rough treatment in a travel bag. Panasonic sent me a new one under warrenty. The replacement is also broken, although it still sounds good if wrapped or held in the exact right position(which is fine for a long flight, unusable anywhere else). For the price I'm still happy I bought them as I wanted them mainly for air travel. Sound quality is much better than ipod headphones(my only frame of reference)
