Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I used to own a JVC TV and I alwasy thought the sound quality was great. After receiving a new LCD TV in another brand, I thought the sound quality was very poor on the new TV. I went looking for home theatre systems. I liked the sound quality on the JVC model and the price was great.
