About - Dell V525w
---
The Dell V525w is an all-in-one inkjet printer with scan and copy functions, an automatic document feeder, built-in faxing, and Wi-Fi networking. It works with both Windows and Mac OS. Individual cartridges for each color let you change only the ones that are empty. There's an automatic document feeder to let you copy or scan a stack of pages in one operation. The printer has no photo preview display. Unlike most color printers, the Dell V525w lacks a memory-card reader. It has PictBridge for direct printing from cameras. You can connect directly to a PC with a USB cable, or to your network router wirelessly with Wi-Fi. This model has built-in faxing, can store incoming faxes if the paper runs out, and can send faxes from an attached PC.

Comment:
Much like the other review, those were my experiences as well. It does not work as a wireless device. It goes through ink quickly and not every office supply place carries Dell ink. It is now out of warranty and I am looking for a new printer. I do not recommend this device.
How long have you owned it:
More than six months
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Comment:
I use this as my home printer. Most of my use is black and white text printing. It worked great for about 3 months. Then it started having paper feed problems. It would pull multiple sheets instead on one at a time. Next it started to jam frequently. Now I can only print one page at a time IF I get the paper in exactly the way it wants, which usually takes several tries. I spoke with a guy who operates a private repair company and he told me the rollers are frequent problem on this printer. I do not recommend buying this model printer. I is poorly made.
