I am a photographer and use printers all the time. I needed a multipurpose, every day printer and was told laser was inexpensive. I never found out how to just print Black ... I found it impossible and confusing to adjust the quality settings, so it became incredibly expensive to run. Things got so bad that I had to retire an expensive and perfectly good printer and buy a new one for the cost of two cartridges I would have had to replace.
