About This Brand

HTC is a leading smart-phone brand with an innovative line of Android and Windows products. Its lineup consists primarily of multimedia-focused touch-screen models with large, vivid displays. It introduced the first phone running on the Android operating system, and the first phone camera capable of simultaneously taking video and still pictures. HTC is also notable for the world's first 4G smart phones and was among the first to offer devices that run Windows Phone 8. Its One series has several innovative features including a camera app that can automatically group pictures and videos into "Events," according to where and when they were taken, and turn them into short, polished multimedia clips that can easily be shared. Also, its default home page is a photo-rich interface called BlinkFeed, which pours calendar notifications, news, and social-network feeds into a cascading blend of captioned photos and text boxes. Some models also offer wireless charging.

Comment:
Paid a pretty penny for the unlocked version (I hear they actually INCREASED the price this month it is so popular) because the biggest cell phone service was charging my wife and I $200+ monthly. They refused to come off that price (taxes make up a big portion of the bill in Florida) very much so we went with a new Bring-Your-Own-Device carrier that just opened in Tampa. Even wih that expensive phone and my wife's new Iphone 5, our TOTAL bill will be $115 less per monnth. Both phones will amoratize themselves out in under a year!

This phone is incredible and I can only echo the previous reviewer. Despite its aluminum case feeling soft in your hands it does not scratch easily. The screen, although large, is not a 5 monster that so many others feel they have to sport. You csn make the speakers 50% louder than most other phones with exceptional clarity. HTC has begun upgrading to Android 4.22 as of mid-June, unlike other manufacturers who might wait 6 months more.

I am very impressed with Blinkfeed, which is basically a FlipBoard or News360 kind of app built into the home page. This phone has so many features you will HAVE to get the manual and read it.
How long have you owned it:
One-to-three months
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
