Money is better spent elsewhere

Pros
Compact design
Cons
Poor Battery Life
Best Uses
none
Comment:
Spend the money elsewhere, the battery life is a joke and the internal voltage sensors are worthless. I have unit(s) that charged overnight, display full charge on the screen, then turn off completely when answered.

I had 6 headsets, now down to 4 as 2 suffered blunt force trauma. When the next one is killed they will all go to be recycled.

Fundamental flaws in the electronics do not deserve additional patronage. Free is still too much.

I read all the reviews and found most people had problems. When I received my phone I bought Duracel NIMH rechageable batteries (4 for $12.00) and never even opened the batteries that came with the phone. I have not had any of the problems reported. My advise is to trash the supplied batteries and you will love this phone.

Strength
Day # 2 so far so good
Weakness
no speed call option
Bought at Costco for about $50 did not do any research just bought on Pany's reputation to replace a 4 yr. old Pany system. Now after reading that problems seem to start after a month ! more bad reviews than good ones. will leave another review in a month. but right now everything is fine. just miss the speed call option but knew that at time of purchase.

Strength
When it works, the works GREAT.
Weakness
Constantly loses connection with the base
I have to carry at least two phones around with me if I am moving from room to room. It usually quits about i/2 second after connection - sometimes 10 minutes. Often, it takes two phones to get thru a conversation. Talking ID would be better without a foreign accent. Really garbles most words.

Strength
When they work the voice is clear and the talking caller ID is cool.
Weakness
Loses connection with the base.
I bought this phone a couple months ago and the problems started right away. The first signs was an occasional connection loss with the base. Hang it up and it may or may not connect. It got to the point where it would hardly connect at all. I called Panasonic, who sent me a new set. We have had it for 4 days now and it is starting the same thing. If I could give this a zero star I would, customer service sucks.
