About This Brand

In LCD TVs, Mitsubishi is positioned as a premium line with step-up features. All models are 120/240Hz 1080p sets that have edge-lit LED backlights and incorporate multi-speaker sound projectors. The company's flagship line is the Diamond series, which is sold in select dealers. Mitsubishi is the only brand still actively selling rear-projection microdisplay (DLP) TVs and all are integrated 3D sets or 3D capable. It also offers its unique Laser Vue rear-projection TVs that use lasers as the light source. In the front projector market, it has competitively priced 3LCD and DLP-based high-definition (720p or 1080p) models.
