Comment:
the price was right for the set, looks are appealling, feels comfy in the hands, balance could be better on the lager pans make it a bit front heavy. the biggest issue i have with this set is the fact that the stack pot after a few boils it started to pit on the bottom, the two saute pans burnt right up discolored on the sides you cannot have the heat up over medium at all. i could pour a gallon of oil or non-stick spray in these and food will still burn on, and it is also a pain when washing them because you have to scrub really hard and soak them but the best trick to getting these pots and pans really clean and is a step you shouldnt have to do is buy (bar keepers friend) i use the liquid version i feel is best and scurb it in let sit for a min or two and should come off with easy. stainless steel pan is not the same as a non-stick pan you do have to oil it up but come on it shouldnt be that bad!!!bottom line is if you dont mind to do a little work cleaning after cooking i would buy this for the price i guess.

I've had this set for over 2 years and I love it! I cook dinner for my family every night and these pots & pans have never let me down. They heat quickly and evenly and they retain heat well. They are so easy to clean - any real tough spots I just soak overnight and they clean right up. I am not a gourmet cook, but I have two friends who are and they both have this set of pots & pans on their wish lists.

I got this as a housewarming gift from my mother about 5 years ago.
It's is a great set of cookware FOR THE PRICE. If you are expecting the absolute finest quality cookware available, then you will probbaly be disappointed. But if you are looking for good cookware at 1/5 the price of the high end cookware, then this just might be the cookware for you.
Sure, after 5 yr of use I've found that the 3qt sauce pan has a few flaws in the steel that show up as light pitting, and the skillets may not heat as evenly as my one all-clad skillet, but if you want a set of nice cookware and cost is a factor, I doubt you will be disappointed.
You should also check out their set of aluminum non-stick. I've got a set of it too, and as far as I can tell, it's every bit as good as calphalon but it is very reasonably priced.

Strength
These pieces are polished so shiny they look like sterling silver. Cleaned up very easily, look like new still and cook evenly.
Weakness
Haven't encountered any, other than making me want to cook - and eat - more often.
A friend has been using these for over five years and hers still look new. I used a skillet to pan-fry a steak then made a reduction/sauce. Usually I'd have a burned-on mess in the pan but these cleaned up to look like new with very little effort. The meat cooked evenly and quickly. Everything was delicious and came out like the chefs on Food Network made it. Just read the manual and follow their recommendations. Enjoy!
