I really don't know why these get such a bad review from CR they are pots...good pots and will last forever. I own a full set of All-Clad as well as a partial set of non-stick pots as there are uses for both types. I think stainless steel often get bad reviews from people who don't cook much and don't know when and how to use each type. The bottom line is if you want easy and disposable pots go get yourself some non-stick pots and pans (I say disposable because non-stick pots start to shed after 5-10 years depending on how much you cook). If you want to buy pots and pans that will last a lifetime then get something like these All-Clads and then buy one or two good non-sticks (a pot and an omelet pan) for cooking really sticky things like eggs. Also it annoys me that CR lists these as expensive because against the replacement cost of high end non-stick pots and pans that last only a short time, these are CHEAP! They will be around long after you are dead and forgotten if taken care of so year over year they are a much better value. Oh and to clean these, go buy yourself some Barkeepers Friend at the grocery, use this once a month and they will look new FOREVER.

This our every day pan. This is used more than any other in the kitchen. I'm tired of watching my wife fight with the handle. I'm going to order something else and toss this or give it to someone that doesn't mind the handles. I don't understand why CR doesn't call them out as being unsafe. If you need to pour the contents into another pan the All Clads are very hard to manage because the handle is so skinny. No one else makes a handle like this.

Recently purchased an induction cooktop and All-Clad was the recommended cookware. It did not disappoint. Heats quickly and evenly. Soak pots for a short time in warm water and clean up is simple. There are always sales, you can find a reduced price if consumer is willing to wait. Would definitely recommend.
