Its not a cast iron cover nor are the sides. The burners light easily and give off an even amount of heat.the metal used to make the burners is not a high quality metal. There is not a temparture guage on this model, but its easy to know when the BBQ is hot enough to cook. The grill cleans off quickly using a brass brisle brush.[$]. It came assembled and no propane tank.

For whatever reason the instructions have the wheels on the opposite end away from the tank. The weight of the tank is impossible to maniuplate with this configuration.

Never Again
By Malark from SC on 8/1/2009
Pros:
cheap
Cons:
Poor construction
Best Uses:
One time then trash it
How long have you owned it:
A month or less
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This is the worst grill I have ever owned. I had a $90 grill in college that was better. This grill was so badly warped after the first use the heat diffusers and grates fall down inside the grill every time you lift the cover. It constantly flares up and burns everything. If you are not watching it with a handy beer to help put out the flames you WILL ruin dinner. The entire construction feels cheap. [...] Time to go upgrade to a Weber. Save your money and buy a better grill or at least a different one.
