I believe they may be a bit overpriced but then again it is quality There is something about the retro classic grill look that is appealing as opposed to poor stainless steel that does not hold up. I have had too many mid-range grill, cheap, poorly constructed, 3 yrs. and in the dump. I would expect to have this for the rest of my life, easy to rebuild if necessary. I question your ratings.

I am very happy with my Broilmaster. My model doesn't have the shutter system, because it wasn't available when I bought it 12 years ago. I like it for it's cooking performance, quality materials, classic look, and being made in the USA. I literally have never cleaned it except for scraping the cooking grid before cooking. The burner and cast iron grids need to be replaced because of neglect and harsh michigan winters. I will be replacing those parts for a couple hundred dollars, because a new broilmaster with all the upgrades I have would be around $1700. It is neat thinking I could use this grill my whole life.
