Comment:
I bought this based on the consumer reports rating. I had a Weber before this that lasted 12yrs. This grill is not close to the fit, finish or quality of the old Weber. The drip tray is a terrible design and the doors are flimsy. It is very uneven temperature front to back and across different sections of the grill. I think consumer reports really missed it with this one.

Comment:
Have had it a month and have not been able to use it. Had to return to store. Got a replacement grill and waiting for parts to come in. Overall the assembly instructions are the worst I have ever seen. Apparently the drip tray was reconfigured and was left out of the assembly instructions, very confusing. I would probably try another manufacturer next time I buy a grill. I just hope that when the parts come in the grill can live up to its price tag.

Comment:
This is one of the best grills you will ever own. The quality of the grill is excellent and very well thought out. The flame control is the best I have ever used. It will achieve temps of 700 degrees easily. Once the temp is locked in it will not move. The heavy cast iron grates do a good job, but you must keep them oiled or they will rust. This grill heats up very quickly and is ready for action in 10 minutes or less. The flame control through the flavorizer plates is excellent as well, I have not had anything flame up on me yet. At 550 degrees it will sear a steak like the best steak house. The rotissery is good quality and makes great chickens, lamb and roasts. Overall I would say you would be hard pressed to find a grill of better quality for double the price. You will never regret this purchase, I haven't and I am super picky when it comes to grills. Hope this helps you make a good decision.
