not as happy as I thougt I would be
By mountainrunner from West Virginia on 1/9/2010
Pros:
Easy To Setup
Cons:
Flimsy Design
Best Uses:
Low Impact Exercise
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
How long have you owned it:
A month or less
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Purchased this treadmill after using my daughter's Nordic Track C2300. Quality of construcion was not as nice as the 2300. The storage latch knob broke completly off before we finished putting it together. The console does not sit as tight as the 2300. I really like Nordi Track, but this one disappointed me. The ifit live module part of the treadmill is great, but requires a monthly subscription to get the online workouts.

Improperly packaged
Describe Yourself:
Occasional Exerciser

Bought this on sale and it looks great out of the box. Easy to assemble but needs strong guys to move into the place it will be used. Down side is a part did not have a hole as the instructions indicated to finish attaching the large electronic console. [...] Unable to use for fear of damaging entire treadmill. Wish I knew this before purchasing!

Best Uses:
Heart Rate Training, Low Impact Exercise, Weight Loss
Describe Yourself:
Frequent Exerciser
How long have you owned it:

Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This treadmill seems to be doing the job. We are frequent runners usually in the 3-5 mile, 7-8 minute mile, 3-4 days a week range. Bought it for the winter and because young kids make it hard to get out as frequently. Easy to put together -- 1.0 hour. Heavy -- get a good friend to help move it. Seems very solid and has a nice soft running platform. We've been running without shoes, which is nice. ipod dock is great touch. Heart rate monitor gives mixed results at best. Motor is 2.5 hp.
