Comment:
Not a direct replacement for the big drills with large jobs but surprisingly effective for lite to regular duty. I have the Hitachi DS18DL drill and WH18DL Impact Wrench but I always tend to go back to the Makita if I can anyway. It can screqw a 2 inch screw into a 2x4 not as fast as a full sized drill but impressive for the size. <br /><br /><br />The big drawback is noise if it had the same power without the impact driver noise it would be a 5 star and then some. I wrapped it with some foam tape and that eliminated most but not all the noise. You need earplugs if you use it hard for long.
