Comment:
I have had this mower for two years. I am careful about all instructions and followed them over both winters. The battery does not accept a charge of > 10% despite leaving the charger on for 2 days. After sales service is tardy and a joke.
There are other green options out there. Do not purchase this machine. Dealing with it and the customer care department is soooooo frustrating. I am using a weed eater to mow my lawn while I try to get my warranty honoured.

Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Comment:
This mower lasted 2 years. The help line number doesn't connect to anyone. I'm a bit frustrated with Homelite now.

The store I bought it from (Orange Logo National Hardware store that ryhmes with Dome-Hepot) no longer carries ANY homelite electric mowers.

Comment:
This may be good for a tiny lawn that is sparse and absolutely perfectly level. Otherwise, it is as hard to push as my grandfather's push mower, and a lot heavier.

Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
