Comment:
Just purchased and used this mower for the first time today. It took about 5 minutes to assemble the mower. Don't plan on using it out of the box as it takes 14 hours to charge battery. Charging Instructions are incorrect. When you charge the battery, the charger remains red until the battery is charged. The lights on the battery do not light up during charging, only during mowing. I charged the battery overnight and was pleasantly surprised that the mower started right up. My lawn is about 6,000 sq feet. I figured I would need a second battery, but was able to hack through 12 to 15 inch grass on the high setting, then got through about 1/2 of lawn on the low setting before battery died. Seems that the engine strains on the lowest settings, but that may have been from the work out it received hacking through the jungle on the first pass. I noticed some stray tall grass after the first pass. I'm hoping this is not an ongoing issue, but I can deal with it if it is. Still, I love the fact that this mower starts up immediately with no effort and that i can easily stop and restart as I need to. I am also happy that I don't have to add oil, gas or worry about running over an AC cord. Again, this is honeymoon period. Hopefully the produt will hold up over the year.

Comment:
I use this mower on a small 12' by 16' front lawn and sidewalk grass strip.

Performance matches CU's tests. During multching it often takes 2 passes to cut all the grass blades. Battery power level is only indicated while actually mowing. A small, easy to loose plug-in key is required to activate the mower. After mowing, grass is relatively easy to brush out of housing. Battery easily lifts out for safety and recharging.
