About - Worx WG789
This Worx mower's rating consists of:

Mulching: Reflects a combination of evenness, which is how close the mowers came to even, carpet-like mowing, and how completely the mower distributed the clippings over the lawn's surface.

Bagging: Denotes a combination of evenness, which is how close the mowers came to even, carpet-like mowing, and how many clippings the bag held before it filled or the chute clogged.

Side discharging: A combination of evenness, which is how close the mowers came to even, carpet-like mowing, and how evenly clippings were dispersed from the side-discharge chute.

Handling: Includes ease of operating the drive controls (for self-propelled models), pushing and pulling, making U-turns, and maneuvering in tight spots.

Ease of use: Includes ease of starting the engine, operating the blade-stopping controls, shifting speeds (for self-propelled), and adjusting the cutting height. Bag convenience and ease of changing modes are separate judgments that contribute to the overall score.

What can I say...if you are a homeowner & don't need a rider, then this is the mower for you! It is my favorite possession (even over my Lexus). After using a gas mower for 45 years, I wanted to go green. I already owned a few of this company's products and, for the most part, have been very happy with them.

After doing some research, I decided to go with the WG789 (better known as The Pacesetter). It is often out of stock for prolonged periods from the company's website. When I found it in, I ordered it & it came right to my doorstep. VERY easy right out of the box! Can mow at 7AM during our infernal summers & not disturb neighbors.

One overlooked neat feature: Hold the two handles together WITHOUT pushing the start button & the mower will pull itself to where you store it without engaging the blade...pretty sweet!

With the performance I have had from this mower, I don't ever plan on going back to gas. By the way, I don't know where they get the 45 min. battery limit. Heck, I can mow my front, side, alley & (big) back yard twice on one charge. Just simply plug it in & charge it overnight. This HAS NOT been an issue.

Buy the Pacesetter and you shouldn't be disappointed!! You will love it.

I have owned mine for two years now and had no problems.
it is a great product.
I do however like the newer model, which has a bigger battery, and a speed adjustment. My brother In-law bought the newest model after he saw mine and how quiet and light it was. The neighbors love how quiet it is compared to the other ICE (Internal Combustion Engines)lawnmowers they own.
