Comment:
Bought this after seeing Consumer Reports recommendation. It began showing symptoms of starving for fuel after only 4 months of weekly/biweekly use; started but needed 1/2-3/4 choke & half throttle to run. Eventually, it would not remain running at all. Manufacturer (Weed Eater, a division of Husqvarna) blamed any carburetor issues on fuel without even examining it and wouldn't honor 2 yr warranty even though the blower was only 6 months old. Attempts to resolve with Weed Eater customer service & parent (Husqvarna) complaint escalation were unsuccessful. Local, authorized service center wouldn't even look at it without first paying a deposit that was more than the equipment cost when new.

Comment:
This replaced a MUCH older unit that was a very effective tool. It finally gave up the ghost, and I went looking for a lighter-weight unit. CU recommended this, so I picked one up. At first opening and assembly, it appeared almost toy-like and cheap. But once fired up, the light weight, excellent balance and really super performance was pleasing. Much better than my old one for effective blowing. Also nice & quiet. 2-yr. warranty is nice. Hope it holds up!
