Terrible Battery Life - Tips
6/10/2011
Pros
Easy to Handle
Lightweight
Cons
Best Uses
Comment:
From the beginning, battery life was bad and only got worse. I have had the product ~4 years. I use the trimmer for simple edging but cannot get all the way around my front yard before the battery goes low and the cutting speed slows significantly.
Tip - I found that the battery holds a charge better if I take it from the charger and put it into the trimmer shortly after the battery is charged. If I leave the battery in the charger, the battery seems to significantly discharge during the week after the battery has been charged.
For best use - I take the battery out of the trimmer on Friday evening and put it back in the charger and then use the trimmer on Saturday morning (what a pain, but it seems to help!)

Comment:
Works great, but very disappointed that the battery didn't make it after the 1st winter. The batteries cost about $59 or more to replace. Not sure if it is just my battery.
