Mattress support slats and side support railings can break, and bed could collapse.Products: 20,000 wooden bunk beds sold at Big Lots from 5/08 through 2/09 for $300. Model numbers are WP-9108-1 and WP-9108-2 and can be found on interior panel of head- or footboard. Big Lots has had 14 reports of support slats cracking or breaking.
What to do: Stop using bed and call 866-244-5687 or go to www.biglots.com for information to return defective parts and get free repair kit.
Trudeau garlic slicer
Blades can break during use, posing risk of cuts.Products: 22,000 combination garlic press/slicers sold at stores nationwide for about $20. Model numbers are 998009, 998010, and 998010CB. Trudeau has had four reports of blades breaking.
