Faulty diagrams led to book recalls.

The Taunton Press, publisher of "Wiring a House," 3rd Edition, and "Wiring Complete: Expert Advice from Start to Finish," has recalled 64,000 copies of those books because they contain several errors in the technical diagrams. Those errors could lead consumers to incorrectly install or repair electrical wiring. That could pose an electrical shock hazard. No injuries have been reported.

Publisher Don Linn said a customer reported an error in "Wiring a House." An internal review then found mistakes in "Wiring Complete" drawings. He said a production error led to mislabeling of those diagrams. If you have one of the books, which cost about $25, stop using it and return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
