Blower's rotating component (impeller) can break and pieces could fly out, posing risk of serious injury.
Products: 900,000 blowers sold at dealers and mass retailers from 1/00 through 12/02 for $32. Recalled item is model 51586, with serial numbers between 000055100 and 220255609. Toro has had 162 reports of broken impellers, including 28 reports of minor cuts and bruises from ejected pieces. Blowers were recalled in 7/07 for the same problem.
What to do: Stop using blower and call Toro at 888-279-3191 or go to www.toro.com to get a replacement blower.

Bagi Shumanit grease remover

Bagi Shumanit grease remover
 
Contact with remover can burn skin and eyes. Product doesn't have required special safety packaging or warning label.
Products: 245,000 spray bottles (26.4 fl. oz.) sold at grocery stores in Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York from 4/00 through 9/08 for $5. Spray cleans grease from ovens and cooking surfaces.
What to do: Pour remover into toilet, being careful not to splash. Return empty bottle to store for full refund. The manufacturer says it will produce a new bottle with a safety cap that is non-removable. For further details, call the importer (Fantastic) at 718-485-1300.

Plastic caps and metal screws on sides can loosen and fall out, which poses risk of falls and choking.
Products: 95,000 high chairs sold at juvenile and mass merchandise stores from 1/06 through 5/07 for $80 to $110. Evenflo has had more than 1,000 reports of caps and screws falling out of chairs and 140 reports of seatbacks reclining, falling back, or detaching, resulting in at least 92 reports of various injuries.
