Vehicles

2009 Jaguar XF
Rear safety belt D-ring might not rotate properly. Inability to rotate might limit performance of rear safety-belt system.
Models: 390 vehicles.
What to do: Have dealer inspect rear safety-belt system and repair accordingly.

2007-2009 GM models
Buildup of snow or ice on windshield or wipers might restrict movement of wiper arm. Wiper linkage might become detached and wipers will be inoperative.
Models: 16,525 2008 Buick Enclave, 2007-2008 GMC Acadia, 2007-2008 Saturn Outlook.
What to do: Have dealer install new wiper crank arm, driver's side link, and crank arm nut.

2001-2008 Mercedes-Benz models
Models equipped with Active Body Control (ABC) sensors on front struts might not be within tolerances. That might affect the vehicle's directional stability.
Models: 279 2001-2006 CL-Class Model 215, 2007-2008 CL-Class Model 216, 2002-2006 S-Class Model 220, 2007 S-Class model 221, 2003-2007 SL-Class Model 230.
What to do: Have dealer inspect and replace affected sensors.

2008 Hyundai Elantra
Fuel pump motor might not have proper and uniform electrical surface contact, causing fuel pump to provide less pressure to fuel injection system.
Models: 8,498 vehicles.
What to do: Have dealer replace fuel pump sub-assembly.

2004-2006 BMW models
Front passenger's seat occupant detection mat might develop micro cracks in the side flanks of mat, leading to break of conductive path. The system might recognize a failure and front air bag will be deactivated. Deactivation will be signaled by air bag "On/Off" lamp.
Models: 20,000 2006 3 Series (Sport), 2006 3 Series (STD Seat), 2004-2006 5 Series (Comfort Seat), 2004-2006 5 Series (Sport Seat), 2004-2006 5 Series (STD Seat), 2006 6 Series, 2004-2005 7 Series, 2004-2006 X3, 2006 X5, 2004-2005 Z4.
What to do: Models will receive an extended warranty of 10 years. Under extended warranty, mats that experience this issue will be replaced at no charge.

2006-2008 GM models
Heated washer fluid system might overheat the control-circuit ground wire. That might cause other electrical features to malfunction.
Models: 54,403 2008 Buick Enclave, 2006-2008 Buick Lucerne, 2006-2008 Cadillac DTS, 2007-2008 Cadillac Escalade, 2007-2008 Cadillac Escalade ESV, 2007-2008 Cadillac Escalade EXT, 2007-2008 Chevrolet Avalanche, 2007-2008 Chevrolet Silverado, 2007-2008 Chevrolet Suburban, 2007-2008 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2007-2008 GMC Acadia, 2007-2008 GMC Sierra, 2007-2008 GMC Yukon, 2007-2008 GMC Yukon XL, 2006-2008 Hummer H2, 2007-2008 Saturn Outlook.
What to do: Have dealer install a wire harness with an in-line fuse.

2008 Toyota Highlander
Safety-belt mechanism on infant seat on the third-row seat might revert back to the Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR) mode from the Automatic Locking Retractor (ALR) mode. Toyota has a Customer Support program in place to provide replacement parts to prevent ALR mode from reverting to ELR mode.
Models: Exact number unknown.
What to do: Toyota Canada will notify owners of affected vehicles and request that the parts be installed at no cost to owners.

2006-2008 Chevrolet HHR
Door storage bin might not remain closed during impact.
Models: 15,158 vehicles.
What to do: Owners will receive a latch reinforcement and installation instructions or they can have a dealer install the latch.

2008-2009 Chrysler Challenger
Vehicles equipped with "keyless Go" fail to comply with CMVSS 114 requirement.
Models: 700 vehicles.
What to do: Have dealer reprogram wireless ignition node module on affected vehicles.

2003 Hummer H2
Water might enter windshield wiper module. If water enters the module, windshield wipers might work intermittently or become inoperative.
Models: 356 vehicles.
What to do: Have dealer inspect the windshield wiper model cover and replace if necessary.
