Below are some of the most generous cash-back credit cards, listed in alphabetical order. Our data come from CardRatings.com, as of early May 2008, and our own research.

Consider a cash-back card for your everyday rewards card. It's likely to be good in more places and more generous in what it offers. As with all cards in these lists, take a hard look at the APR. If you don't pay your bill in full each month, you'll save money if you opt for a non-rewards card with a lower APR.
