How common is colic in babies?

It's not easy to say how common colic is.

Different studies say different things. Anywhere from 5 in 100 to 20 in 100 babies get colic at some point.

About 16 in 100 families will take their baby to see their doctor or another health professional for colic, but not all these babies will have colic.
