California-based Lucid builds luxury electric vehicles with exceptionally long range. Its first vehicle, the Air sedan, went on sale in 2021 and can travel over 400 miles on a single charge, depending on its equipment. Lucid also has an SUV, the Gravity. Its vehicles feature futuristic designs with plenty of glass, high-tech interiors, and luxurious touches that set them apart from established luxury brands. Although its performance is impressive, even among fast EVs, the Air struggles with below-average reliability.
